Parties The Hall

The Atmosphere Our Victorian hall does a lot of the work for us. High ceilings, fairy lights, vintage mirror ball, and the kind of character you just can't get from a function room. Your guests will walk in and know it's going to be a good night.

Your Event, Your Way A planning meeting ahead of the event to get the details right - catering style, music, timings, layout. We set everything up before your guests arrive so you can enjoy the evening with the people who matter.

From £550 for a full evening until 10pm. Extend to midnight for an additional £220.

Catering

All catering at The Hall is provided by Bel's Kitchen. Isabel Davies is one of the region's most respected private chefs, and works with every client to build a menu around them - from elegant plated dinners to relaxed sharing feasts, with seasonal ingredients at the heart of everything she does.

Bel's Kitchen caters for virtually all dietary requirements, and there's no additional venue charge for using them.

Prefer to use your own caterer?
You're welcome to use external caterers for a corkage fee:

  • Bring your own cold food (evening): £150 We take care of rubbish, but you or your caterer must provide all crockery, plates, cutlery and everything else needed

  • Kitchen hire for external caterers: £300
    No kitchen access without this

  • External caterers must provide health and safety documentation

Treating Your Guests

A few ways to treat your guests to drinks on the day — pick whichever works best or combine them.

1 Pre-order — welcome drinks, wine with dinner or a case of real ale, ready and waiting when guests arrive.

2 Run a tab — set a spending limit and specify what it covers. We'll let you know when you're approaching the limit.

3 Drinks tokens — give guests a token or two each, redeemable at the bar. We settle the tab with you at the end of the evening.
