What is PechaKucha 20x20
PechaKucha 20x20 is a simple presentation format where you show 20 images, each for 20 seconds. The images advance automatically and you talk along to the images. The format means that you don't need to be an experienced presenter or particularly confident to carry of a gripping presentation, you just need to be passionate about your topic. 20/02/15 Theme : "Design in your city"
To celebrate the anniversary of PechaKucha, we are joining in with the global night on 20th of February. The theme is "Design in your city". We are putting together a programme of 20x20 presenters who have something to say and share about design in our city.
Presenters this friday include:
A furniture maker,
A coffee roaster,
The charter for compassion,
Camera obscurer,
Vintage bicycles
Exeter pound campaign
Exeter Library – “A living room in the city”.
We will be serving an optional vegetarian curry and nan bread for an extra £7. Please specify whether you would like to book a curry when you purchase your ticket. We will be running a cash bar.

If you are eating please please try and get to the hall for 7pm
If you are just coming for the event then please come by 7:30pm

The PechaKucha format means you don't have to be a great public speaker. You only have 20 seconds to talk on each of your 20 slides. It could be ground breaking, it could be trivial; it's your passion that's important. Your whole talk will only be 7 minutes long (20x 20 seconds) If you need help, our experienced coaches are on hand or, you can jump right in.
