Planning Your Special Day at The Hall Exeter

  • We want your wedding day to be perfect! Here's what you need to know about booking with us:

  • To secure your date, we'll need a 25% deposit (non-refundable), with the final balance due 3 months before your day

  • Your booking includes an events coordinator, waiting staff, and bar team but not catering

  • We provide the venue, tables, chairs, and all drinks

  • The venue is yours exclusively during your hire period, until midnight (last orders 11:55pm)

  • With safeguarding in mind, we ask that children under 12 leave by 9pm unless supervised by a registered childminder

  • We require a £500 refundable damage deposit to protect our historic venue

  • Due to our location on Stepcote Hill, please note we have specific accessibility considerations

  • After 10pm, we switch to our "Not-So-Silent" disco system for music. The PA is still running but headphones are available for those that want a more subversive experience. This is to ensure music does not inhibit conversation and to encourage people of all ages to stay to the end without limiting the party atmosphere.

  • Only biodegradable flower petals are permitted as confetti.

  • All suppliers (DJs, photographers, etc.) must have valid public liability insurance.

  • If you're having a civil ceremony, you'll need to book the registrar separately.

  • No parking is available at the venue itself, but there are plenty of car parks near by

  • Wedding insurance is required to protect against unexpected cancellations
